- ½ cup water (120 mL)
- ½ cup Simple Truth™ Organic Granulated Sugar (120 mL)
- ½ cup Simple Truth™ Basil leaves (120 g), plus more for garnish
- 3 Simple Truth™ Lemons, juiced, plus 1, cut crosswise into thin wheels, seeds removed, divided
- 1 bottle Simple Truth™ Italia Prosecco

Preparation
- Make the lemon basil spritzer: In a small pot, combine the water, sugar, and Simple Truth™ Basil. Bring to a boil over high heat, whisking until the sugar dissolves. Simmer for 1 minute, whisking frequently. Remove the pot from the heat and let the syrup steep for 30 minutes. Strain into a heatproof container, discarding the basil leaves, and let cool completely.
- When ready to serve, add 1 tablespoon basil syrup and 1 tablespoon lemon juice to each of 6 glasses and top with 4 ounces Simple Truth™ Italia Prosecco. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and a lemon wheel.
