Submit your recipeCoconut oil has a low burning point and can easily burn while making popcorn. I use canola oil, it’s not as trendy but I find works better. Leaving the lid on can cause too much condensation to build up and make popcorn soggy. I use a grease screen.
You might want to double the brown sugar sauce because only half of the spices was sticking to the popcorn.👍
Did 1.5 tbsp of brown sugar, only had regular paprika. Added some cayenne to kick it up a notch. Used grapeseed oil for the popcorn. Definitely making it again 💯

Adding a bit of liquid smoke to the brown sugar mass it SOOOO much better
i also use canola when making popcorn! also the 3-4 kernel thing at the beginning is unnecessary! let the oil heat up for a couple minutes then put all the kernels in and just shake the pot every once in awhile i’ve never burned a batch! also another good flavour is garlic salt & parmesan &throw in a little something spicy (i use a premixed cajun seasoning)
This was gross, too much sugar. It stuck on a few kernels so there was just big clumps of brown sugar covered popcorn, would not recommend.
I used my air popper for the popcorn as I didn’t have any coconut oil (actually all I had was olive oil) and it came out great. Would definitely make again. 😋
used melted butter with brown sugar and little water to help dissolve the sugar. great taste
It was super easy to make!I’m 15 and in quarantine with my dad and brother, and guess what?I doubled the spices recipe so it would add more flavor and my Dad said it was the best in the world.😍
Actually I would disagree with the quote about canola oil. If you want to go healthier go with extra virgin olive oil or ghee.
‘twasn’t the best popcorn recipe in the world
This was so good!!! I added half the amount of chilly powder because I am a huge wimp when it comes to spice. I would also recommend nit mixing the oil and brown sugar because it clumps in the popcorn. I would just add the sugar to the spices. I would totally recommend this!
