This is amazing! I like it just a bit on the sweet side so I use a bit more simple syrup for the mix.
I made the syrup and cooked down the berries longer, with some strawberries, and added only a 1/2 c of turning sugar. I ran out of my bullit bourbon so subbed in about 2/3C of honey whiskey. It was a hit. Though I split the berry-lemon mixture in thirds to give to quarantine friends and each gave them a liter of soda water to make it. Still sting and tasty!
I added some other berries into the simple syrup mixture. I also used a few of the cooked berries in the mixture. So delicious!
I made this last night, and it was really tasty! I think next time though I will probably put half the amount of sugar in, as it was a bit too sweet and hard on the stomach. I would definitely make it again with some modifications though!
I used swerve sweetener to make this and it turned out excellent. I highly recommend it if you want a sugar free syrup.
A definite hit! I made this last night with Jim Beam. Next time I am going to try with a blackberry raspberry blend.
very refreshing recipe. I put blackberry in sugar for a few days to get better taste.
Taste great and so refreshing! I added 1 cup of lemon juice, 2 cups of wild turkey 101, and 2 cups of club soda. I garnished it just as the steps stated and it was so pretty!
Also great with Whiskey !
Instead of Blackberrys I used Raspberrys, it was a bit sour, so I added ¼ + ⅛ Cup Sugar. It tastes delicious ! (Also didn't used any Alcohol! )
