Frequently Asked Questions
You can shop ingredients for almost all recipes in the Tasty app! Unfortunately, recipes containing alcohol are not shoppable at this time.
If you are on a mobile device, when you select the button to “Add items to grocery bag” on Tasty.co, you will be prompted to download the Tasty app from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store. Once the app is downloaded, it will add the ingredients directly to your bag in the app.
If you are on a desktop device, when you select the button to “Add items to grocery bag” on Tasty.co, you will be asked to provide your phone number so we can text you a link to download the app from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store.
You can download the Tasty app directly from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store at any time.
You must download the Tasty app in order to finalize adding items to your bag and complete your purchase with Walmart.
Tap the “Add Items to Grocery Bag” button on the recipe page.
If you have not yet shared your location, we’ll ask you to do so and ask you to select your preferred store location.
We’ll then match the ingredients in the recipe to available products in store and show them in your Tasty Grocery Bag!
When you add items to your Tasty Grocery Bag, we’ll only add the amount you need to make the recipe.
If you are shopping ingredients from multiple recipes, any items that are needed for multiple recipes will be grouped under a section labeled “Shared Ingredients”.
Pantry Ingredients are pantry staples like salt and pepper – items we think you might already have at home. These items will be listed in your Tasty Grocery Bag in the app if they’re needed for a recipe, but are automatically not added to your order. If you’d like to purchase them, simply tap the blue “+” button for that item, and that item will be added to your Tasty Grocery Bag.
Tap the “Swap” button under any item in your Tasty Grocery Bag in the app. From there, you’ll be able to switch to a different brand of the same product. For example, if a recipe calls for rice, and you want a different brand of rice, you can make that substitution directly in the Tasty Grocery bag. However, if a recipe calls for rice, and you want to use potatoes instead, you won’t be able to make that substitution within the Tasty Grocery Bag. Once you tap the “Check out with Walmart” button, you’ll be taken to Walmart where you’ll be able to search for and add potatoes to your order.
We ask for your location in order to give you the most up-to-date estimated pricing and availability information for the products we show in your Tasty Grocery Bag in the app.
All pricing information displayed in your Tasty Grocery Bag in the app is estimated and does not include tax. You will be able to see final pricing, including any additional taxes and fees once you leave the Tasty app to check out with Walmart.
Pickup is free! There may be a fee to get your pickup faster.
Delivery fees vary and are based on the time slot you book. The delivery fee for your individual order will be shown at checkout.

I’ve made this recipe 2x-it’s definitely a crowd pleaser! For my second try, I added 1 tsp of cinnamon. Highly recommend this modification. The end product is a dense, not-overly-rich (but still sweet & satisfying) dessert bread. Agree with other users that baking time is closer to 50-55 minutes @ 350. A great spin on a classic! Also, not totally unhealthy.
A keeper recipe! I didn’t have any yogurt, so I subbed 2/3 cup olive oil - the loaf turned out perfectly moist and delicious. I also used 1/3 cup granulated sugar instead of honey, and topped the loaf with the chocolate chips instead of incorporating. Baking time was 55 mins.

I’ve made this twice and added more flour the second time since I live at 6500 ft.
I used regular cocoa powder instead of dark because that’s all I had. I also used mayonnaise instead of Greek yogurt because I’m disgusting sooooo... But it made it super juicy. Also I had to bake it more close to an hour than 45 minutes because the center was still goopy.
So good!! I didn’t even add the honey and it was still really sweet!
This is SO YUMMY!!!!! I didn’t add chocolate chip and I used only 4 tbsp of honey because I’m on diet. The sweetness is on point for me! I used normal cocoa powder so it doesn’t look as dark. 😂 I ended up baking it for 1 hour and 20 mins because I have a small oven. Will definitely bake it again!!! ❤️🤲🏻
Use a flavored yogurt and add 1/2 cup peanut butter. It’s SO good
If you’re watching your diet, swap the flour for coconut flour and honey for 1tbsp liquid stevia. Macro breakdown/serving @ 10 slices/batch: 145 cals 21.7g carbs 6g fiber 5.6g fat 5.3g carbs #WINNING 👏🏻
Very good! Although I did use regular flour instead. I also watched the oil replacement video and used 2/3 cup of oil instead of yogurt because that’s what I had. It still turned out very and I recommend it. Definitely a party pleaser.
I only used two bananas because thats all i had. Two big bananas, and it was still deliscious.
To make it even healthier, I replaced half the flour with flax meal!
