Pantry Ingredients are pantry staples like salt and pepper – items we think you might already have at home. These items will be listed in your Tasty Grocery Bag in the app if they’re needed for a recipe, but are automatically not added to your order. If you’d like to purchase them, simply tap the blue “+” button for that item, and that item will be added to your Tasty Grocery Bag.
What if I want to select a different brand for a product in the Tasty Grocery Bag?
Tap the “Swap” button under any item in your Tasty Grocery Bag in the app. From there, you’ll be able to switch to a different brand of the same product. For example, if a recipe calls for rice, and you want a different brand of rice, you can make that substitution directly in the Tasty Grocery bag. However, if a recipe calls for rice, and you want to use potatoes instead, you won’t be able to make that substitution within the Tasty Grocery Bag. Once you tap the “Check out with Walmart” button, you’ll be taken to Walmart where you’ll be able to search for and add potatoes to your order.

Preparation
Make the filling: In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar, flour, salt, lemon juice and zest, and the vanilla bean seeds.
Add the blueberries and peaches and use a spatula to toss until well coated.
Transfer the filling to a 10-inch (25 cm) cast-iron skillet. Refrigerate until ready to top.

Make the biscuits: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Using a cheese grater, grate the cold butter into the flour mixture. Working quickly, use your hands to toss the butter in the flour.
Pour 1 cup (245 ml) of buttermilk into the flour mixture and use a spatula to stir into a shaggy dough.

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface. If the dough looks too wet, dust with a bit more flour. Form the dough into a 5x7-inch (12 x 17 cm) rectangle, and sprinkle with more flour. Fold the dough in half, then roll out again. Repeat 4–5 more times to build the flaky layers of the biscuits.
Add a few tablespoons of flour to a small bowl. Dip a 2-inch (5 cm) round cookie cutter in the flour, then punch out 16 biscuits, pressing the cutter straight down. Reroll the dough as needed to cut out more biscuits.
Arrange the biscuits on top of the fruit filling, making sure they are touching. Brush the biscuits with the remaining tablespoon of buttermilk and sprinkle with the turbinado sugar. Refrigerate until ready to grill.
Preheat the grill to 350°F (180°C).
Place the cast-iron skillet on the grill and shut the lid. Grill the cobbler for 1 hour 15 minutes, until the biscuits are golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
Let sit for 30 minutes at room temperature, then serve with ice cream or whipped cream.

I put the extra bits in between because my bisquits weren't big enough. I also used frozen fruit instead of fresh and it was delicious!

So I just made the biscuits not the entire thing. First time it failed cuz I didn’t have frozen butter. But second time was better! Used a cast iron and baked at 350 for 40 minutes. But then realized my flour was bad! Had to throw them away! Maybe will try again. Happy cooking!

Make sure you have a cast iron skillet. I didn’t have one so I used a regular pan but it endet up burnt on the bottom.
Still really delicious!

I only needed to bake it for an hour, so always watch the cobbler after 50 minutes to make White it isn’t burning. Time can vary for everyone based on the depth of the cooking vessel.

I didn’t have time to make biscuits from scratch so I used the biscuits from the can and it still turned out delish! Absolutely never thought this flavor combo would go together but it’s is the best thing ever! Totally recommend this for anyone who has a sweet tooth! 🙂

Did anyone consider using Pillsbury biscuits instead of going thru the trouble of making it from scratch?

Yummm! This was a whole day affair, but sooo worth it!! I cooked it a few hours before dinner and put it back on the grill to warm up while we ate. My biscuit was super wet, so I added a bunch more flour. I could only fold it over twice rather than four times because of that, but still noticed developed flakey-ness.

I used unprocessed cane sugar. Still pretty good, but not as sweet, which was nice with the ice cream.
