Submit your recipeGreat recipe. I used ice cold sparkling water to add buoyancy. I substituted 25% of the cake flour with rice flour as well to add extra crunch.
I made this and it turned out really amazing. You can also use sweet potatoes, bell peppers or mushrooms instead. 😜🍤
I tripled the tempura recipe and only did jumbo shrimp. I also added a tiny drop of 🍋essential oil to the batter for some brightness. They came out crunchy and delicious!
I made it into crunch for sushi salad
I’ve made the shrimp twice now & both times has met my expectations. They were actually a little crispier the next day in the air fryer! I bought yum yum sauce & soy sauce and it satisfied everything i wanted! It helps that it’s very easy to cut & batter the shrimp, so i’ll definitely be adding this to my weekly dinners!
I used mushrooms, sweet potato, and carrots. I didnt have cake flour so I used regular flour with cornstarch and soda water from my soda stream. This is going with my zaru soba dish tonight.
u shld half the batter because i had a lot remaining n it was quite wasteful
Great recipe would Definitely recommend
Really good, just wish batter was thicker
I'd prefer if they had a bit of a crunch to them. But other than that they tasted great and I look forward to making them again.
In the video it told me to just put the eggplant in the batter and fry it. It didn’t have a good crisp.
My partner and I decided to make those with regular shrimp. It turned out pretty good but we had wayyyy too much batter. We also added some fried paprika.
