These items will be listed in your Tasty Grocery Bag in the app if they’re needed for a recipe, but are automatically not added to your order. Submit your recipeOil does not need to be corn - I used melted butter and olive oil. This recipe could also be made with almond extract and a nut paste in the middle. So many variations possible! Flavor and texture is a cross between biscotti and a scone. Perfect for an afternoon snack!
This recipe is awesome! next time I’m going to be very generous with my jam, because I was not getting the jam flavor. I also added half a teaspoon of almond extract, and used vegetable oil and it was just as good. I made these for Hanukkah and they were a hit.
Added a some almond paste with the strawberry jam for a Bakewell tart flavor, added a drizzle of white chocolate for a bit of festive flair, love this recipe.

Best dessert ever!!! I am Jewish so we already had a recipe in the family and I tried to make this one and it was delicious 😋
Love it Thank you for sharing
This recipe is amazing! the only thing i have to say is that you should put a little bit less of oil.
I subbed vegetable oil for the corn oil and my whole family loved it. It’s also dairy free and really good with raspberry or apricot jam.
Delicious and super addicting!!!!!
To make it crunchy out it back in the oven after cutting for about 10 minutes or golden brown. The crunchiness makes it takes delicious.
These were great! Don’t expect them to be as sweet as a normal cookie, because they are not. I am not Jewish but made these for my piano teacher who is and she loved them! You don’t have to add less oil, they’re not as greasy as the video looks. Very easy! Make sure to use plenty of jam and chocolate chips. (You can do half jam and half chocolate) ☺️☺️
Made twice with raspberry jam as the filling and once with chocolate chips mixed in-so good!!! Followed recipe, super delicious and didn’t need any modifications :)
It was delicious!! I chopped up a bar of chocolate, used 30% less oil and came out perfect. Also put biscoff in the centre I stead and drizzled Nutella and biscoff on top. Definitely not overboard and will be making this exact recipe again! I also made 1/3 of the initial portion.
