Frequently Asked Questions
You can shop ingredients for almost all recipes in the Tasty app! Unfortunately, recipes containing alcohol are not shoppable at this time.
If you are on a mobile device, when you select the button to “Add items to grocery bag” on Tasty.co, you will be prompted to download the Tasty app from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store. Once the app is downloaded, it will add the ingredients directly to your bag in the app.
If you are on a desktop device, when you select the button to “Add items to grocery bag” on Tasty.co, you will be asked to provide your phone number so we can text you a link to download the app from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store.
You can download the Tasty app directly from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store at any time.
You must download the Tasty app in order to finalize adding items to your bag and complete your purchase with Walmart.

If you have not yet shared your location, we’ll ask you to do so and ask you to select your preferred store location.
We’ll then match the ingredients in the recipe to available products in store and show them in your Tasty Grocery Bag!
When you add items to your Tasty Grocery Bag, we’ll only add the amount you need to make the recipe.
If you are shopping ingredients from multiple recipes, any items that are needed for multiple recipes will be grouped under a section labeled “Shared Ingredients”.
Pantry Ingredients are pantry staples like salt and pepper – items we think you might already have at home. These items will be listed in your Tasty Grocery Bag in the app if they’re needed for a recipe, but are automatically not added to your order. If you’d like to purchase them, simply tap the blue “+” button for that item, and that item will be added to your Tasty Grocery Bag.
Tap the “Swap” button under any item in your Tasty Grocery Bag in the app. From there, you’ll be able to switch to a different brand of the same product. For example, if a recipe calls for rice, and you want a different brand of rice, you can make that substitution directly in the Tasty Grocery bag. However, if a recipe calls for rice, and you want to use potatoes instead, you won’t be able to make that substitution within the Tasty Grocery Bag. Once you tap the “Check out with Walmart” button, you’ll be taken to Walmart where you’ll be able to search for and add potatoes to your order.
We ask for your location in order to give you the most up-to-date estimated pricing and availability information for the products we show in your Tasty Grocery Bag in the app.
All pricing information displayed in your Tasty Grocery Bag in the app is estimated and does not include tax. You will be able to see final pricing, including any additional taxes and fees once you leave the Tasty app to check out with Walmart.

Delivery fees vary and are based on the time slot you book. The delivery fee for your individual order will be shown at checkout.

Submit your recipeI put the potatoes in the oven first with some olive oil, garlic powder, and parsley for about 15 minutes. Then, I mixed the rest veggies in the pan with the potatoes, layered the sausage on top, and added more olive oil and the garlic. Returned to oven and cooked for 45 more minutes. Turned out perfect!
I have been making this recipe for years and now it's on here LOL. I like to use fresh Roma tomatoes versus diced canned tomatoes, just really brings out the flavor of all the fresh ingredients. Other than that, spot on and so good, even my kids love it.
This was great! Instead of sausage I used steak and added bacon and mushrooms and it was really delicious. But the veggies don’t need a whole hour to cook or they will be soggy. 40 minutes is plenty

I would add maybe a bit more seasoning! maybe Italian seasoning and also I didn't need the whole hour to cook, 45-50 min tops :) But overall it was yummy!!!
This dish was so easy and delicious! Even my 1 yr old chowed down on the veggies! I did substitute a few things. I used sweet potatoes for a healthier option and I used baby carrots instead of zucchini because I had them in my fridge and didn’t have zucchini. This could easily be prepared a head of time for busy weeknights!
Would definitely make again BUT everything kinda burned. So I’d take away like 15 minutes from oven time. Potatoes were perfect though so maybe potatoes for 15 min then add everything else for 45? Either way super good and SO EASY
add your fav veggies: I have red peppers, red onions and white onions (half each), carrots, squash and zucchini. instead of banning, try sauteing in a skillet with olive oil 👍
Made it almost exactly like the recipe said, and it turned out great! I would use more seasonings. Garlic/Onion powder, Basel, Paprika, and possibly parsley or cilantro at the end.
Per comments about veggies not being done at the same time, I separated the food so that if something was done earlier I could take it out. I mixed everything separately in a bowl and used way more garlic than the recipe called for. There was no yellow squash in MN so I used sweet potatoes. Also added mushrooms and skipped the onion and pepper. ‘Twas awesome

I have done something like this like but without the peppers and potatos and I instead put spinich and cooked it in a skillet and was amazing!!!!
I added instead of diced tomatoes I put the Rotel diced tomatoes with green Chile’s to add some extra flavor and spice
