If you are shopping ingredients from multiple recipes, any items that are needed for multiple recipes will be grouped under a section labeled “Shared Ingredients”.
What is the section labeled “Pantry Ingredients” in my Tasty Grocery Bag?
Pantry Ingredients are pantry staples like salt and pepper – items we think you might already have at home. These items will be listed in your Tasty Grocery Bag in the app if they’re needed for a recipe, but are automatically not added to your order. If you’d like to purchase them, simply tap the blue “+” button for that item, and that item will be added to your Tasty Grocery Bag.
What if I want to select a different brand for a product in the Tasty Grocery Bag?
Tap the “Swap” button under any item in your Tasty Grocery Bag in the app. From there, you’ll be able to switch to a different brand of the same product. For example, if a recipe calls for rice, and you want a different brand of rice, you can make that substitution directly in the Tasty Grocery bag. However, if a recipe calls for rice, and you want to use potatoes instead, you won’t be able to make that substitution within the Tasty Grocery Bag. Once you tap the “Check out with Walmart” button, you’ll be taken to Walmart where you’ll be able to search for and add potatoes to your order.
Why do you need my location?
We ask for your location in order to give you the most up-to-date estimated pricing and availability information for the products we show in your Tasty Grocery Bag in the app.

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Uncover the slow cooker and remove the bay leaves. Using 2 forks, shred the jackfruit until it resembles the consistency of pulled pork.
Transfer the jackfruit to the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes, or until the edges are slightly crisp.

Serve shredded jackfruit with tortillas, guacamole, black beans, corn salsa, and pico de gallo. The jackfruit will keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
I had made this is was good I just wish there was like some kind of sauce with it. I also made homemade tortillas and beans and rice. Don’t bake it for 15 mins because it makes it dry .

The texture was good but there was not enough flavor for me...Edgy Veg on YouTube has a better recipe for carnitas (but it’s a little spicy, if you don’t like spicy). We used onion, cilantro, and homemade salsa on top which made it better!

I agree don’t roast afterwards; definitely dries it out. As carnitas- 👎🏼 but as a meat substitute 👍🏼👏🏼. Takes on more of a chicken taste & texture. Will I give up the real deal, nope! But definitely worth the effort.

It was good but not that good. Maybe a sauce tip could’ve made it better.

I agree with many of the comments that this is not saucy and risks being too dry, so I did add more orange juice in the slow cooker and a little liquid smoke and taco sauce before putting it in the oven. Texture and taste was good though....my meat eating husband enjoyed it!

It turned out weirdly slimy but I was using fresh frozen jackfruit, not canned.

Would be better as bbq pulled “pork”. i added liquid smoke, brown sugar, and vegan worschtischire, and bbq sauce after. if you make it as carnitas, add a tablespoon of water or vegetable broth a couple of times while it cooks to keep it from being dry, and don’t bake it for 15 minutes. also a mole sauce would give it flavor, without a sauce it’s dry.
