What is the section labeled “Pantry Ingredients” in my Tasty Grocery Bag?
Pantry Ingredients are pantry staples like salt and pepper – items we think you might already have at home. These items will be listed in your Tasty Grocery Bag in the app if they’re needed for a recipe, but are automatically not added to your order. If you’d like to purchase them, simply tap the blue “+” button for that item, and that item will be added to your Tasty Grocery Bag.
What if I want to select a different brand for a product in the Tasty Grocery Bag?
Tap the “Swap” button under any item in your Tasty Grocery Bag in the app. From there, you’ll be able to switch to a different brand of the same product. For example, if a recipe calls for rice, and you want a different brand of rice, you can make that substitution directly in the Tasty Grocery bag. However, if a recipe calls for rice, and you want to use potatoes instead, you won’t be able to make that substitution within the Tasty Grocery Bag. Once you tap the “Check out with Walmart” button, you’ll be taken to Walmart where you’ll be able to search for and add potatoes to your order.
Why do you need my location?
We ask for your location in order to give you the most up-to-date estimated pricing and availability information for the products we show in your Tasty Grocery Bag in the app.
Are the prices I see in my Tasty Grocery Bag accurate?
All pricing information displayed in your Tasty Grocery Bag in the app is estimated and does not include tax. You will be able to see final pricing, including any additional taxes and fees once you leave the Tasty app to check out with Walmart.

Stir in the peppers, green beans, chilli, and coconut milk.
If you happen to live in a place with limited ingredient choices (like me), you can DIY your own green curry paste by blending up a bit of shallot, garlic cloves, ginger, jalapeños, turmeric, cumin, coriander, and salt—kind of like a pesto. Not 100% authentic, but the flavor is there!

Use cream of coconut rather than coconut milk if you prefer your curry less watery. I had to thicken mine with flour as I didn’t have cornflour. I added garlic to the chicken and a table spoon of sugar. I scattered coriander on top and served it with sticky rice and a wedge of lime.Turned out delicious

This smelt so good whilst it was cooking and we couldn’t wait to try it!! What disappointed us was just how watery the sauce had become in the slow cooker. Perhaps next time a little corn flour should be added just to thicken the sauce slightly so it didn’t feel so soupy

The curry paste I got from the store wasn’t too spicy, so I added in some ground ginger paste, three cloves of garlic, and lime juice to add in more flavor. Also I doubled up the green beans instead of adding bell pepper—very crunchy and yummy!

The grocery store was out of red chili so I substituted for 2T of sweet chili sauce. I also agree that a little corn starch added in helps to thicken the sauce. Overall a great meal.

I needed a simple crock pot meal that I could prep the night before so I made this with boneless, skinless chicken breasts and put everything in the crock pot right at the start. Husband and toddlers devoured it! Next time, I will use coconut cream instead of c. milk (curry was thin) and I will put the veggies in the last hour on low (they were over cooked).

For a more authentic flavor, I used fish sauce instead of soy sauce and added 1-2 tbsp of coconut cream to sweeten. Chicken thigh was fatty, probably because of the skin. Next time, I’ll try chicken breasts and add more veggies. Peppers, green beans, and zucchini!

Add less spice and more coconut milk/cream for a milder flavor. The 5 tbsp packed too much of a punch for the paste I chose. Also, add some sugar depending on the paste you get. I didn’t have any added in mine, and I felt the spiciness could’ve been cut with a little sweetness. Everyone loved regardless!! I used carrots instead of green beans.

Great recipe. I added chopped onion and garlic to the slow cooker (I add these to almost everything) and a handful of fresh cilantro. I served it over rice noodles seasoned with chili flakes, cilantro and lime juice. Very tasty.
