Submit your recipeTry it without Cucumber..that how we make it in Syria
I'm lebanese so tabouleh is our favorite "salad" but we don't add cucumbers plus we soak the burgal in hot water till its drained P.S: if you add cucmbers and lettuce with fried bread it'll be called "fatoush"
The recipe doesn’t say to drain the bulgur before putting it in at the end. Definitely drain it! Otherwise there is far too much liquid. Other than that, it’s delicious!

Use quinoa to save a few bucks!
I’m from Syria so tabbouleh is very common and very good but we don’t add cucumbers and we add the burgel first
Yum! Great recipe. Instead of bulgar I used cous cous and even contemplated using quinoa. I still added the tomato juice and lemon juice to the cous cous to add flavour. It was delicious.
My grandma is Palestinian and she makes her tabouleh just like this one and it is one of the best things ever. However, we typically add a bit more bulgur, it tastes better that way and we finely chop the cucumber
Don’t do that thing with the fork and the leaves, just cut them and leave out the ends of the stems. Then, cut the tomatoes normally, don’t drain it. Let the bulgar soak in water for about an hour or two, till it expands. Then, add everything else. Also, cucumbers take away from the taste. Light mint. Not much salt. And you have your perfect plate!
I’ve never made tabouleh with cucumber. Do yourself a favour and leave it out. I also seed my tomatoes before adding to the parsley.
They did it good but we don’t add cucumbers I’m Lebanese I’ve eaten this all my life but I think it’s wrong you don’t add cucumbers but good job 👍🏻
Just to tell you people, Tabbouleh is made without pepper or scallions or cucumbers 😑😒😤 But to look better, you can put lettuce around Sa7tein 😉
Followed recipe almost exactly, but used vine ripe tomatoes and replaced water with all the tomato juice. Also sprinkled extra virgin olive oil on it for extra yumminess. Will definitely make again.
