What is the section labeled “Pantry Ingredients” in my Tasty Grocery Bag?
Pantry Ingredients are pantry staples like salt and pepper – items we think you might already have at home. These items will be listed in your Tasty Grocery Bag in the app if they’re needed for a recipe, but are automatically not added to your order. If you’d like to purchase them, simply tap the blue “+” button for that item, and that item will be added to your Tasty Grocery Bag.
What if I want to select a different brand for a product in the Tasty Grocery Bag?
Tap the “Swap” button under any item in your Tasty Grocery Bag in the app. From there, you’ll be able to switch to a different brand of the same product. For example, if a recipe calls for rice, and you want a different brand of rice, you can make that substitution directly in the Tasty Grocery bag. However, if a recipe calls for rice, and you want to use potatoes instead, you won’t be able to make that substitution within the Tasty Grocery Bag. Once you tap the “Check out with Walmart” button, you’ll be taken to Walmart where you’ll be able to search for and add potatoes to your order.
Why do you need my location?

Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together the sugar and coconut oil with an electric hand mixer until fluffy.
Add the vanilla and salt, and stir with a rubber spatula to combine. Set aside.

Sift the flour and baking powder into a medium bowl.
Gradually add the flour mixture to the coconut oil mixture and stir to combine.
Gradually add the non-dairy milk and stir until a crumbly dough forms. Using your hands, knead the dough into a ball.

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to about ¼-inch (½ cm) thick.
Use snowflake cookie cutters to cut out shapes and transfer to the prepared baking sheets about 2 inches (5 cm) apart. Re-roll excess dough to cut out more shapes.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, until slightly golden around the edges .
Make the royal icing: Sift the powdered sugar into a large bowl. Add the vanilla and some of the water. Whisk until smooth, adding more water as needed to reach your desired consistency.
Transfer half of the icing to another bowl and add blue gel food coloring to one. Immediately transfer the icing to piping bags, or cover with plastic wrap. Do not leave the icing uncovered, as it will develop a film. If this happens, add a small amount of water and whisk to incorporate until the icing returns to your desired consistency.
Decorate the cookies with the royal icing and sprinkles. Let dry completely, at least 3-4 hours or overnight.
Swapped out for gluten free flour and still turned out surprisingly delicious!

These are super cute! I’d recommend adding less water than the recipe calls for if you want really defined icing- but otherwise they’re quick and really tasty.

You can use vegan butter if you’re low on coconut oil like i was, i also put a little more sugar and used baking soda instead of powder (like half teaspoon give or take). The cookies were perfect and soft im not a big fan of sweets but these were really good

The cookies turned out well 🙂 they were a little lumpy but it tasted just as good as the regular ones! Although the dough was very hard to work with and kept crumbling I had to add coconut oil and flour to repair the cracks.

These tasted like coconut. The coconut flavor reminded me of the beach and I shed a few tears. I love the beach so so much and I just couldn’t handle the unwanted reminder that I was still in the mountains. I know that sounds dramatic but I just couldn’t help it. I’m not one to cry about food but these were too much. I would rate these 7/10.

I made sure to rest the dough in the fridge for 20 minutes. Made it much easier to roll!

These were delicious!!!! My non-vegan family loved them. I halved the frosting recipe and it still made more icing than I needed so I’d definitely recommend making half and then making more if you need it. (The recipe made more cookies than are shown here- we ate a bunch before I thought to take a picture.)
