Black History Month, which takes place during the month of February, celebrates the central role and contributions of Black people in US history and culture. During this time, we want to highlight a true African-American experience. To do this, we aim to focus on and celebrate the ingredients and experiences of people from the African diaspora and how they’ve influenced the way we eat in America.
