Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

for 34 servings

  • 2 ¼ cups flour (280 g)
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter (230 g)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar (100 g)
  • ¾ cup brown sugar (150 g)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups chocolate chips (350 g)

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F
  2. Mix together the dry ingredients and set aside.
  3. Cream the butter and sugar. Then add vanilla and egg.
  4. Add dry ingredients to wet mixture and mix in the chocolate chips.
  5. Roll into tablespoon-sized balls and place the dough 2-inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes and let cool for at least 5 minutes before eating.
