Ingredients

  • nonstick cooking spray
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast (455 g), cut into 1 in chunks
  • 2 cups frozen broccoli (300 g)
  • 8 oz penne pasta (225 g), or rotini pasta, uncooked
  • 1 package cream cheese, cubed
  • 2 cups chicken stock (480 mL), such as Kitchen Basics®
  • 1 cup milk (240 mL)
  • 1 package Tasty™ Fiery seasoning mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (100 g)

Preparation

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix together the stock, milk and seasoning mix in a large bowl until well blended.
  3. Arrange chicken and broccoli in a single layer in a 9X13-inch baking dish sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Top evenly with pasta and cream cheese.
  4. Pour the seasoned stock over the pasta in the baking dish and cover tightly with foil.
  5. Bake for 50 minutes, remove foil and stir together to incorporate. Stir and sprinkle with shredded cheese. Bake, uncovered, for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Let stand at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving.
