Chocolate Bananas Foster Pie

Ingredients

for 6 servings

  • 5 bananas
  • ¾ cup brown sugar (165 g)
  • ¼ cup butter (55 g), cubed
  • 1 oz dark chocolate (30 g), grated
  • 2 pie crusts, homemade or store bought

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. Meanwhile, chop the bananas into fourths, first down the center crosswise then lengthwise.
  3. Mix bananas with brown sugar and butter.
  4. Put the pie crust in a pan and fill with the banana filling. Sprinkle chocolate on top.
  5. Add the top crust and use a fork to crimp the edges. Slit a cross in the center of the top crust for venting.
