- 1 8-count can of cinnamon rolls, icing reserved
- 8 baking apples, such as Gala
- melted butter, for brushing
- brown sugar, for sprinkling
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, for sprinkling

Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Slice off the top of each apple and hollow out the inside using a melon baller, leaving a thicker base at the bottom and being careful not to cut through the sides.
- Add a bit of melted butter and a sprinkle of brown sugar and cinnamon to the inside of each apple, then brush to coat evenly.
- Place a cinnamon roll in each apple. Place the apples in a baking dish so they remain upright.
- Bake the apples for15 minutes, then cover loosely with foil and bake for another 25-30 minutes, until the cinnamon rolls are baked through.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with the reserved icing. Serve warm.
