Crunchy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

for 20 servings

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar (50 g)
  • ¾ cup dark brown sugar (150 g)
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup butter (115 g), melted
  • 1 ½ cups all purpose flour (185 g)
  • 4 oz milk chocolate (110 g), chopped
  • 4 oz dark chocolate (110 g), chopped, 60% dark chocolate

Preparation

  1. Whisk butters with sugars to combine. Once whisked, add egg and vanilla extract.
  2. To this mixture, sift in the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt).
  3. Fold in chocolate into dough. Mix the dough with the chocolate bar
  4. Wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  5. Bake at 400°F for 15 minutes.
  6. Let cool and serve.
  7. Enjoy!
