Deep Fried Ice Cream Dogs

Ingredients

for 2 servings

  • vegetable oil, or sunflower oil
  • 2 hot dog buns
  • 1 cup sugar (200 g)
  • 1 pt ice cream (400 g)
  • your choice of toppings, like sauce or sprinkles

Preparation

  1. Cut the hot dog bun in half, keeping it together a little if you can.
  2. Roll the bun in sugar.
  3. Fry in hot oil for about 30 seconds each side,
  4. Allow to cool for 30 seconds, then fill with ice cream and cover in sauce!
  5. Enjoy!
