Ingredients

  • 1 medium yellow onion, halved and thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup mayonnaise (240 g)
  • 1 cup sour cream (230 g)
  • 1 tablespoon McCormick® Hearty Spice Blend
  • kosher salt, to taste
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • potato chip, for serving

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 400˚F (200˚C).
  2. Spread the onion on a baking sheet and drizzle with the olive oil. Roast for 15-20
  3. minutes, until the onion is slightly charred. Let cool to room temperature, then roughly
  4. chop and transfer to a medium bowl.
  5. To the bowl, add the mayonnaise, sour cream, Hearty spice blend, salt, and lemon juice
  6. and whisk to combine.
  7. Serve the onion dip with chips.
  8. Enjoy!
