Ingredients

for 5 helpings

  • Tasty™ Korean-Style BBQ Beef Dinner Kit
  • 1 lb sirloin steak (455 g), sliced in quarter-inch strips
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 ¾ cups water (420 mL)
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Make It Special

  • 4 stems green onion, diagonally cut
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Preparation

  1. Add water, salt and rice to a 2-quart saucepan; stir. Bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat to low. Cover; cook 22-24 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. Meanwhile, coat sliced beef with seasoning in shallow bowl or plastic bag.
  4. Heat oil in 10-inch non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Carefully add beef and peppers; cook 6 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sauce thickens.
