Stovetop Tomato Basil Soup

Ingredients

for 5 servings

  • 2 cans goya tomato soup
  • fresh basil, to taste
  • fresh thyme, to taste
  • fresh sage, to taste
  • salt and pepper mix, to taste

Preparation

  1. Over medium heat, fill a small pot with 4 cups (960 ml) of water. Add canned tomato soup to the pot and season with ~10 shakes of pepper.
  2. Stir the soup and season with basil, thyme, and sage
  3. Continue stirring for five minutes. Then cover and let simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Stir for 2 more minutes and add more salt, pepper, and herbs, to taste.
  5. Allow the soup to cool slightly before serving.
  6. Enjoy!
