Sweet Potato Chips

for 1 serving

  • 1 large sweet potato, or large yam
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme


  1. Preheat oven to 400˚F (200˚C).
  2. Cut sweet potato into ⅛ inch (3 mm) to ¼ inch (6 mm) slices.
  3. In a medium bowl, toss slices with olive oil until fully coated.
  4. Add seasonings and toss until fully coated.
  5. Arrange slices on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 25 - 35 minutes, flipping halfway.
  7. Allow slices to cool to room temperature.
  8. Enjoy!
