Preparation

  1. Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan over high heat. Add the green tea bag and turn off the heat. Let steep for 2 minutes. Remove the tea bag and let the tea come to room temperature, about 10 minutes.
  2. Whisk the taro powder into the tea until dissolved.
  3. To assemble, add the boba pearls and brown sugar syrup to the bottom of a serving glass. Top with the ice, then pour in the taro tea and half-and-half.
  4. Stir with a wide-opening straw and serve.
