Vanilla Matcha Caffeinated Smoothie

Ingredients

for 2 servings

  • 1 ½ cups hot water (360 mL), mixed with 1½ teaspoons matcha powder, cooled
  • ½ cup whole milk (120 mL)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • whipped cream, for topping
  • 1 pinch matcha powder, for topping

Preparation

  1. Pour the matcha mixture into an ice cube tray. Freeze for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
  2. Add the matcha ice cubes, milk, sugar, and vanilla to a blender. Blend until smooth.
