Cinnamon Chai Sleepy Time Milk

Ingredients

for 2 servings

  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom pods
  • ½ teaspoon whole clove
  • ½ teaspoon fennel seeds
  • 1 inch piece fresh ginger
  • 2 cups whole milk (480 mL)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 bags decaf black tea
  • cinnamon powder

Preparation

  1. Add 2 Cinnamon sticks, 1 tsp Cardamom Pods, ½ tsp whole Cloves, ½ Fennel Seeds, 1 inch sliced fresh Ginger in a cloth bag. Tie the cloth bag properly.
  2. Add 2 cups of whole milk and 1-2 tbsp honey to a saucepan
  3. Whisk it well for 10 sec
  4. Steep 2 bags of decaf black tea bags and cloth bag mixture in the warm milk for 10 minutes
  5. Take out the tea bags and froth the milk by whisking for 2-3 minutes
  6. Pour into a mug and add a pinch of Cinnamon powder
  7. Serve immediately
  8. Enjoy!
