Protein Oatmeal

Ingredients

for 4 servings

  • 2 cups oats (160 g)
  • 4 cups milk (960 mL)
  • 2 apples, chopped
  • 2 bananas, mashed
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 3 egg whites
  • raisin, optional

Preparation

  1. Add oats and milk of choice to a pot. Do not start to cook.
  2. Add the bananas, apples, vanilla and cinnamon to the pot and cook on medium low heat.
  3. Separate the egg whites from the yolks from 3 eggs.
  4. Once the oatmeal starts to form, add in the egg whites, stirring constantly to prevent scrabbling.
  5. Cook until firm and oatmeal is thoroughly cooked through.
  6. Serve with fruit.
