Sweet And Savory Carrots

Ingredients

for 4 servings

  • 5 carrots, peeled and halved, as desired
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 clove garlic
  • ½ teaspoon fresh thyme
  • ¼ teaspoon fresh rosemary
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Preparation

  1. Heat a pan on medium-low heat and melt the butter. Add the garlic and herbs and keep stirring for about 3 minutes
  2. Add the carrots and stir into the butter to start cooking it, just for a couple minutes. Add the brown sugar and mix to combine until smooth.
  3. Coat the carrots in the sauce and cook for about 7-10 minutes on low heat, until carrots are fork-tender.
  4. Serve warm.
