Ingredients
for 24 servings
- 2 ¼ cups plain flour (280 g)
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- ½ cup date (100 g), (pitted and chopped)
- 1 cup dark chocolate (100 g)
- ¼ cup agave nectar (50 mL)
- 1 cup golden syrup (200 mL)
- ½ cup unsalted butter (125 g), melted
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Preparation
- Heat the oven to 350°F and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Mix together all the dry ingredients in a small bowl (including the dates and the chocolate). In a separate small bowl, mix together all the wet ingredients.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto the baking tray.
- Bake in the oven for 11 minutes and let the biscuits cool for 1 minute on the tray before moving to a wire rack to cool completely.
