Grilled Stuffed Pork Chops

Ingredients

for 4 servings

  • 4 porterhouse pork chops
  • 12 oz bacon (350 g), chopped
  • 8 oz smoked gouda cheese (225 g), grated
  • 1 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Preparation

  1. Brown bacon in a skillet. Once browned, drain and set aside.
  2. Combine bacon, gouda, and cilantro in a bowl and mix well. Set aside.
  3. Stuff pork chops with bacon, gouda, and cilantro stuffing. Season both sides with all seasonings and grill on medium heat for about 20 minutes, or until the middle measures 160°F.
  4. Top with any remaining stuffing mixture and allow to melt.
  5. Serve warm.
