Ingredients

  • 1 baguette
  • 7 oz
    brie cheese, sliced (200 g)
  • 2 granny smith apples, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup
    candied walnuts, chopped (50 g)
  • honey, for serving

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 550°F (285°C), or as high as your oven will go. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Using a serrated knife, slice the baguette crosswise on a slight diagonal into ½-inch (1 cm) slices. Transfer the baguette slices to the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Top each piece of bread with 1-2 slices of Brie cheese.
  4. Bake for 5 minutes, or until Brie begins to bubble and the bread is toasted.
  5. Top each piece of bread with 1-2 apple slices and candied walnuts. Drizzle with honey.
  6. Enjoy!
