Cinnamon Bun French Toast

Ingredients

for 2 servings

French Toast

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup
    milk (240 mL)
  • 1 tablespoon
    vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon
    cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon
    butter
  • 4 slices bread

Cream Cheese Mixture

  • 4 oz
    cream cheese (115 g)
  • ¼ cup
    heavy cream (60 mL)
  • ¼ cup
    powdered sugar, plus extra for garnish (40 g)
  • 1 teaspoon
    cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon
    nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoons
    vanilla

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat.
  3. Dunk 2 slices of bread at a time in the egg mixture.
  4. In medium bowl mix cream cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla.
  5. Stack and drizzle with cream cheese mixture.
  6. Enjoy!
