Creamy Gourmet Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

for 4 servings

  • 1 ½ cups whole milk (360 mL)
  • ½ cup heavy cream (120 mL)
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar, or to taste
  • ½ teaspoon espresso powder
  • 8 oz 72% dark chocolate (225 g)
  • whipped cream, for serving

  3. Turn heat to low and stir in chopped chocolate until melted completely.
