Funfetti® Poke Cake

This poke cake using Pillsbury™ Funfetti® takes fun to the next level with a sweet custard poured over the cake to produce a dessert that is as cute as it is delicious. Don’t forget the Funfetti® sprinkles!

Funfetti® Poke Cake


for 12 servings

  • 1 (13.25-ounce) Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Cake Mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup neutral oil
  • 1 (13.5-ounce) can coconut cream
  • 7 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 (15.6-ounce) pints Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Vanilla Flavored Frostings

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a 9x9-inch square pan with parchment paper and grease with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Cake Mix, water, eggs, and oil. Mix until combined.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  4. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, whisk together the coconut cream and condensed milk until smooth. Set aside.
  5. Remove the cake from the oven. Use the top of a wooden spoon handle to poke evenly spaced holes all over the top of the warm cake. Pour the coconut cream mixture over the top of the cake and set aside for about 1 hour, or until the liquid is absorbed and the cake is cooled.
  6. Spread the Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Vanilla Flavored Frosting over the cooled cake and decorate with the Funfetti® sprinkles from the lid.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
