  • 3 lb boneless pork roast (1.2 kg)
  • 1 cup apple juice (240 mL), or water
  • 1 packet Sun-Bird Stir Fry Seasoning Mix
  • ⅓ cup soy sauce (80 mL)
  • ⅓ cup sesame oil (80 mL), or canola oil
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 6 rolls kaiser rolls, split and toasted
  • 1 ½ cups coleslaw mix (345 g)

  1. Place the pork roast in a slow cooker.
  2. Combine the apple juice (or water), Sun-Bird Stir Fry Seasoning Mix, soy sauce, sesame oil (or canola oil), garlic, and hoisin sauce in a medium bowl. Stir well, then pour over the roast.
  3. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low setting for 8–10 hours.
  4. Remove the meat from the slow cooker and shred using 2 forks, reserving the liquid.
  5. Spoon the pork onto kaiser rolls, then top with coleslaw.
  6. Serve with the reserved juices on the side as a dipping sauce. Enjoy!
