Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 can can of chickpeas, 15-ounce
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 jar Prego® Traditional Italian Sauce, 24-ounce
  • 16 oz dried pasta (450 g)

Preparation

  1. Heat the olive oil in a medium high-walled skillet over medium-high heat. When the oil is shimmering, add the chickpeas and cook for 3–4 minutes, until beginning to crisp.
  2. Add the paprika, garlic powder, and salt and stir to coat the chickpeas. Continue cooking until the spices are fragrant, about 2 minutes more.
  3. Add the Prego® Traditional Italian Sauce and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the sauce is warmed through.
  4. Serve the sauce over pasta.
  5. Enjoy!
